The Customer Service Support Team Specialist ('CSS') isresponsible for managing the inbound customer and bank branch experience andrelated emails for all calls and inquiries routed to this team on peak' customerservice calls throughout the month. TheCSS is expected to answer 80% of all calls within 20 seconds, and complete thecustomer request while on the call.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS /ABILITIES
Qualifications soughtin successful candidates include:
Minimum one year previous customer service and sales experience preferred;
Strong customer focus is preferred with the ability to answer inquiries, provide information, consult with customers and manage difficult customer interactions
Excellent verbal and written! communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong PC skills with the ability to multi-task while on the phone
High level of reliability and responsibility
Ability to be adaptable and flexible about work schedule
Ability to quickly resolve customer issues utilizing various computer computer screens and written manuals
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities
Respond to and perform a variety of functionsincluding:
Respond to customer inquiries relating to mortgage payment and payoff transactions, and problem resolution.
Provide prompt and accurarte answers to customers
Direct phone interaction with customers and bank branches to answer and resolve questions about mortgage payments and payoffs, and transact address changes.
Review multiple computer systems
Type and talk to resolve complex customer issues
Must have regular, punctual and consistent attendance
EDUCATION /CERTIFICATION / TRAINING
High school diploma or equiva! lent is preferred; some college coursework is strongly preferred
Previous retail banking and/or call center experience a plus
Bilingual in English/Spanish, strongly preferred
Proficient in basic Microsoft applications
Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment with stringent deadlines is preferred
Experience in first or second mortgage or home equity loan telephone experience is preferred
Call center experience preferred, particularly mortgage related
WORK SCHEDULE ANDAVAILABILITY EXPECTATIONS
The Customer Service Support Specialists must be available to work shift hours.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
Use of a PC, fax, computer terminal and/or telephone up to 8 hours a day
Open workspace office environment
Some evenings ! and weekends may be required
Possibility of overtime
