Summary Serves as a trusted personal financial advisor to high income/net worth customers through a seamless delivery of Wealth Management products and services generating revenue to the organization ! to include loans, deposits, financial planning and ancillary products offered through Hancock Bank Business Partners; Properly underwrites new loans and manages existing loans to ensure the company's credit quality standards are met or exceeded.by performing the following duties.
Anyone who takes a residential mortgage loan application or offers or negotiates terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain must register with the National mortgage Loan system as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO). To be registered, the MLO must pass a background check. Failure to comply with registration and annual registration or not pass a criminal background check administered by NMLS will result in termination.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides lending services to high net worth clients in both commercial and personal loans and is responsible for loan recommendation and structuring negot! iations with the borrower and internal officers
Maint! ains current financial statements on borrowers & guarantors and prepares comprehensive credit files
Underwrites and analyzes financial statements of prospective borrowers and makes recommendations to Senior Lenders/Credit Concurrence Officers regarding approval
Responsible for loan structures based on customer needs and in accordance with bank policy then packages and presents loan proposals to appropriate approval authority
Tracks loan agreements and other loan reporting requirements
Negotiates terms and conditions of loans with clients
Responsible for managing risk within the loan and deposit portfolios by closely monitoring delinquencies, overdrafts, documentation and other signs of credit deterioration; Actively monitors loan portfolio to ensure credit quality within the current and prospective loan portfolio
Responsible for assembling financial information and generating complete loan packages for approval presentat! ion
Works closely with clients to identify financial service needs and provide appropriate solutions
Accountable for attainment of goals set forth by management for growth in loans, deposits and fee income
Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy and assures timely loan closing and funding activities
Forms excellent working relationships with numerous internal and external business partners that may include lawyers, accountants and financial advisors to assist with referring customers for private banking sales
Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services
Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business
Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements
Secondary Duties
Attends sales conference calls ! and commercial lending sales meetings at least weekly
Attends ! quarterly sales meeting in Gulfport

Education and/or Experience
Bachelorâs degree, preferably in finance, post graduate study in the banking field and at least six to ten years related experience and/or training
