Baton Rouge office seeks an attorney with 3+ years experience in the following areas: employment and labor law, contracts and corporate compliance. Qualifications include excellent academic credentials with a law degree from an accred! ited law school. Must be licensed in Mississippi and in Louisiana. This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve and effective relationship building skills.
Duties:
Keep up to date on all legal matters particularly those involving employment and labor law, contracts and corporate compliance.
Maintains up to date knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations and policies applicable to the healthcare industry.
Oversee and manage all EEOC claims.
Oversee, investigate and manage all corporate compliance issues.
Review, write, research and approve all company contracts and agreements.
Will serve to provide general , legal information as needed.
Needs to possess strong problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills, be well organized and can multi-task easily.
Will participate in conferences calls as needed.
Some minimal travel to different company locations will be involved.
Will work! with minimal supervision.
