Our client, a leading insurance company, is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Property Claims Adjuster to handle commercial property c! laims and some Homeowner's claims from their Metairie office.
Required Qualifications:
Evaluate and settle first party and third party personal lines and commercial lines claims by telephone, personal contact or correspondence
Examine assigned claim files, insurance policies and other documents to determine coverage applicable to a loss and pay claims within designated authority
Effectively collaborate and communicate with insured’s, claimants, producers, attorneys, internal staff and all other involved parties regarding claims handling as necessary
Verify and analyze data to ensure that the claims are valid and that the settlements are made according to company practices and procedures
Must have at least 3 years of property adjusting experience
Active Adjuster's License Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
