Description: Louisiana State University is presently looking of Research Associate 4 right now, this career will be placed in Louisiana. The Highway Safety Research Group in the Information Systems and Decision Sciences Department at Louisiana State University is currently seeking to fill a grant funded position. The position will be for the duration of the grant which is estimated at two years. The Research Associate 4 will be responsible for conducting research, preparing literature review, and assisting with quarterly and final research documents. Position will involve a moderate amount of in state travel and some out of state travel.
Candidate will be responsible for collecting valid research on! drugged driving, draft literature search, support survey of s! takeholders, legislators, police, district attorneys, defense lawyers and safety experts. Support report writing and logistics for interviews with stakeholders. Candidate will also be responsible for preparing quarterly reports to be submitted to the sponsor.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus four years related experience; strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; candidate must be a self-starter with a willingness to travel; candidate must have the willingness and the desire to become an expert on the drugged driving issue; project management skills.
