The Manager, Export Compliance, under the direction of
the Systems Manager, Export Compliance, and as an
integral member of the Legal, Contracts & Compliance
Department, shall proactively oversee all export
compliance matters for the employer and its
subsidiaries. The Manager of Export Compliance will work
both independently and with other members of the
department to facilitate, authorize, assess, and ensure
compliance with company policies, and import/export laws
and regulations.
Job Requirements:Responsibilities:
(particularly international Traffic in Arms Regulations
(ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Serve as an Empowered Official and designated point of
- Coordinate as necessary with personnel at The
State/Commerce and Customer entities to ensure
appropriate documentation and compliance with company
policies/procedures and export laws and regulations.
- Manage, mentor, and train team of the employerâs trade
goals and monitor progress within the group to ensure
management objectives are properly and timely supported.
- Lead and oversee export licensing activities related
businesses; provide export determinations and
authorizations (e.g. licenses, permits, exemptions,
exceptions, etc.), prepare, submit, track, and monitor
requisite applications.
- Provide export compliance risk advice to senior
- Provide support, oversight and direction to the
interpretations and policies as applicable to business
requirements involving the importation of products.
- Interact with other functional areas (i.e., Business
Contracts) to develop licensing strategies and documents
(such as Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA) and
Manufacturing Licensing Agreements (MLA)).
- Attend various Business Development and Program
approvals suppor! t business and program objectives and
schedules.
- Devel! op import and export strategies to meet future
- Prepare, implement, enhance, and maintain the
instructions, policy statements, and implementing forms
to ensure compliance with government laws and
regulations.
- Ensure that all files are current, complete and fully
regulations as well as company policies, and procedures.
- Conduct or support internal/external audits and
plans, and appropriate disclosures as required; work in
collaboration with in-house attorneys and outside
counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and
regulations.
- Develop, plan, and conduct import/export compliance
! across the company.
- Participate in a variety of interesting international
related duties as assigned.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned by
Qualifications
Education:
B.S. degree in, Business or related field.
Position Requirements:
- Ten plus years of export compliance and international
responsibilities.
- Extensive working knowledge of import/export-related
- Experience in defense and aerospace industries is
- Prior supervisory/managerial experience.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, problem
to effectively communicate with all levels of management!

- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication,
skills.
- Computer literacy and a demonstrated proficiency in
Word are required.
- Must have the ability to successfully manage a broad
