Bachelor’s Degree required. Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of four years health operations, quality assurance, or process assurance/auditor experience required.
Three years of Facets or other claims system configuration and/or adjudication experience strongly preferred.
3 years claims processing or audit experience preferred.
Database Experience preferred (SQL or Sybase).
Strong skills with database tools and query languages preferred (Sybase Central, MS SQL Management Studio/Query Analyzer, MS Access, Transact-SQL)
Strong MS Excel skills preferred.
Understanding of the differences between integrated, interdependent, and interfaced systems and their impacts on each other.
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to translate technical terminology and processes to functional users.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to resolve problems and identify solutions with emphasis on troubleshooting ability.
Ability to judge severity of problems and the need to escalate to management or employ external services.
Proven ability to understand and follow directions and execute assigned tasks.
Proven ability to follow own work and that of others through to completion in a timely manner and address obstacles that arise.
Desire and ability to develop, learn and use tools and technologies to improve work efficiencies and quality.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Responsible for the implementation of solutions which result in efficient, accurate and quality configuration and maintenance of the company’s core and integrated systems.
Responsible for assisting with the decision-making process for identifying, selecting, and modeling solutions to meet needs, goals, and metrics identified by operations and/or other analysts.
Develops and/or maintains appropriate documentation to support identified recordkeeping and change control standards of the core and integrated systems’ configuration and design, as well as the training and development of other analysts supporting the core or integrated systems.
Pursues and identifies personal and professional development opportunities to ensure growth and ability to perform at a higher level of quality and productivity.
These positions reports to a Manager in Business Engineering. Grade: 13. **We reserve the right to fill this position at a higher level.**
