Focus of responsibilities is to summarize medical and employment records and respond to discovery. Preparation of pleadings, motions, conducting discovery including obtaining records and reviewing documents, interviewing clients, preparing trial materials, conduct legal research; all while under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney. Possesses communications skills necessary to interact with clients, claims partners and outside vendors. Monitors and maintains compliance with Team Connect (Litigation Case Management System). Responsible for semi-routine problems requiring an established set of guidelines for resolution. Management guidance provided. Ability to summarize medical and employment records and respond to discovery. Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Internet, and other web-based applications. Demonstrates knowledge in a specialty and is given multiple work assignments for handling. Must be able to process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment and must be adaptable to a changing environment and shifting responsibilities. Requires the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. A strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Personal injury experience is preferred. Must meet the following requirements: Four year college degree AND one year Paralegal experience -OR- Paralegal certificate AND two years Paralegal experience
