Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana
Description: Lofton Staffing Services is at the momment seeking for Paralegal right now, this vacancy will be assigned in Louisiana. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Duties included:
1. Must be great at multi-tasking
2. Problem solving
3. Good Communication (verbal & written)
4. Very organized in all areas
5. General offic! e knowledge with regard to: use of FED-EX, UPS, sending certified mail, scanning documents, use of fax machine
6. Maintain attorney calendars with regard to scheduling hearings, notices, and depositions
7. Knowledge of filing procedures in the 14th JDC, and other clerk of court entities in Louisiana
8. Knowledge of filing in the Western District Court of La.(federal filing)
9. Attention to detail
10. Able to work independently & in groups
11. Knowledge of outlook, Microsoft-word, excel, Westlaw would be helpful, PCLAW would be helpful, but will train.
12. Good with time management
13. Some experience with asbestos litigation, toxic torts, & hearing loss defense.
14. Willingness to learn
15. Able to meet DEADLINES
Requirements :
Requirement - Experience:
- At least 2 years experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of pc law prefered
- Must be able to comply with background! and drug screen
