Candidate will oversee operations and related accounting controls associated with ! the firm’s cash receipts and disbursements functions, general ledger, funds maintained for clients and petty cash, payroll, and tax reporting. Responsible for supervising all Accounting Department personnel. Must be knowledgeable about preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis as well as the financial aspects of benefit programs including the 401(k) Profit Sharing retirement plan and Section 125 cafeteria plan.
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and be a CPA. Previous law firm experience is desirable. The firm uses the Omega Time and Billing system. Position requires strong managerial and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with lawyers, clients, and support staff.
