Description :
Duties and Responsibilities:
The System Administrator is responsible for providing automated litigation support to end-users for server, network and hardware issues. The System Administrator is responsible for on-site security, file, and print server administration, and computer/hardware installation, configuration, and diagnostic repair. The System Administrator interacts frequently with Government agency attorneys, paralegals, and network professionals and provides critical desk-side training and assistance to attorneys and staff in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Relativity, Sanction II, and other software system and hardware products as required. The System Administrator is responsible for system diagnostic and repair of Del! l/IBM/HP computers, multifunction printers/copiers, and Micros! oft applications as well as installing, upgrading, and configuring computers, local/network printers, switches, hubs, wireless routers, and other computer peripherals. The System Administrator also performs software installation, configuration, and diagnostic with Microsoft Windows NT/2003, Microsoft Office Suite 2007, Windows 7, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Cisco VPN, McAfee Antivirus, Citrix client, and other products. The System Administrator is also responsible for Relativity database technical support, out-of-court Sanction II trial presentation technical assistance, and limited document scanning support.
Required Qualifications:
Litigation support experience is required. Must possess outstanding customer service skills. At least two yearsâ experience with hands-on, directly applicable experience of implementing systems in-place (Microsoft, Relativity, etc). It is essential that the individual actually have done the work of desig! ning, obtaining equipment and software, installing, integrating, testing. Requires six months' experience on the job with Relativity. Must have a good understanding of the applications and application software. At least one year of experience setting up large scale database management applications. MS Windows experience. Experience in storage technology planning, performance capacity planning and modeling, applications planning, human factors issues, distributed processing, business process analysis. Requires in-depth knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, PC, server based databases such as Relativity. Requires in-depth knowledge of the Government's security requirements (i.e. NIST, E-Gov, FIPS, FISMA, and DOJ regulations). Sanction II experience is required. Ability to perform hardware and software troubleshooting help desk support for a large office. Ability to do network troubleshooting. Ability to complete tasks with priorit! y deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. ! Undergraduate degree preferred; preferably in the computer science or management information/technology disciplines.
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
Desired Qualifications:
In addition to the normal Systems Admin. duties, the prospective candidate will perform extensive help desk duties assisting CACI and Government agency staff with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, etc., Windows Vista/Windows 7, multi-function printers/copiers, and Relativity database support. The candidate should also be knowledgeable and able to address any issues with TCP/IP protocols and DSL.
