1st Shift-Lien Management - Research Analyst -Mortgage Servicing - Monroe, LA
Overtime will be required outside of standard business hours or on Staurdays depending on volume.
As a Lien Release and Assignments Customer Research Specialist you will wor! k daily correspondence from attorneys, title companies, homeow! ners, branches, & county recorder's offices.
Correspondence may include requests such as, requests for additional information, requests for satisfaction or corrected satisfaction & applicable recording fees, & requests for assignments on paid in full loans. Lien Release Customer Research Specialist must research and resolve complex customer inquiries within defined service level.
Duties assigned may include:
Research loans in different servicing systems for evidence of pay off.
Preparation & reprinting of release documents according to state & department guidelines.
Respond to customer correspondence and customer calls while providing outstanding "best in class" customer service through regular customer & employee contact.
Correct errors and/or reprint release after research is completed.
Audit Files for missing documentation
Check with Record Center, Microfiche, County Recorder's office, Websites or ! ordering Title Search
All other Chase functions or projects as required.
Qualifications
One year Lien Release experience preferred. One or more years of chain of title experience including experience as a title agent or abstractor also acceptable.
Minimum of Two years banking or related experience.
Working knowledge of mortgage documents.
Excellent organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
Ability to Multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.
Ability to think independently, assess risk and controls, and make calculated risk based decisions in a timely manner.
Knowledge of State requirements for Lien Release preparation and document recordation preferred.
Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of Windows XP, MS Word, Excel (Access, a plus).
Super! ior verbal and written communication skills; excellent telephone etique! tte.
Advanced ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; possess ability to prioritize workload and operate effectively and efficiently.
Ability to identify situations that require attention and resolution as well as appropriate discretion to escalate to senior manager when necessary.
Ability to build and maintain rapport with customers, colleagues, peers, and other departments.
Required -Ability to work overtime as required by business needs.
Consistent punctuality.
