Description: First NBC Bank is in need of Commercial Loan Closing Specialist right now, this position will be placed in Louisiana. More complete informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Summary : The Loan Closing Specialist position will a ct as a liaison between Lender and Borrower. Responsible for coordinating the entire closing process. Responsible for documenting commercial and small business loans, renewals, modifications, and waivers and is responsible for the timeliness of processing loan documentation requests through the final booking. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all loan documents in order to eliminate the Bank’s risk as much as possible.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the followin! g:
Engaging attorneys, inspectors, insurance agents an! d any other external party required
Preparing loan documentation using Laser Pro and/or other document software
Obtaining necessary information needed from the Borrower
Closing Loans (when necessary, if Lender needs assistance)
Monitoring and clearing all collateral exceptions as relates to loan closing.
Have a good understanding and working knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation to include real estate, A/R, Stock, Letters of Credit, Auto, Equipment, UCC, etc.
Exhibit excellent client service and communication skills to interact with internal as well as external customers
Have good organizational and time-management skills and the ability to see a closing through completion
Have the ability to work under pressure
Obtain all necessary documents from document checklist upon receipt of Loan Package from Lenders
Serve as Administrative Liaison throughout documentation prep! aration process.
Verify lost or stolen stock certificates.
Review all documents for completeness relative to initial documentation prep process.
Prepare necessary documents not produced by Laser Pro or Legal Counsel (i.e. Act of Donations, Subordination’s, Partial Releases, Bills of Sale, etc.).
Verify that all compliance issues have been covered on consumer loans.
Facilitate loan funding and verify collection of fees.
File necessary documents and cancellation of documents with the proper record guardians, (i.e. Clerk of Court, Dept. of Motor Vehicles, etc.).
Forward loan package for booking.
Ensure that necessary holds are placed on system for Possessory Collateral.
Cross-train backup resources on LaserPro and closing process
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
5+ years banking experience with closing commercial and small business loans
