The Customer Research team receives requests for various aged and recently paid off loans. The research analyst works with customers and third parties (Title Company, attorneys, and other lending institutions) to obtain the necessary documents needed to deem the loan is paid in full, which allows us the ability to process a satisfaction of mortgage. The processor is responsible for collecting back up documentation and entering the information into the payoff tracking system to create a satisfaction of mortgage. The research analyst review documents that include but are not limited to, mortgages, title searches, assignments, warranty deeds. They will be responsible for meeting service levels, production, and quality goals. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are non-negotiable.
- 3+ years mortgage banking or chain of title experience required
- Minimum of 2 years banking or related experience
- Working knowledge of mortgage documents
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills
- Strong desire to help Chase customers succeed with a proven track record of working directly with customers
- Ability to think independently, assess risk and controls, and make calculated risk based decisions in a timely manner
- Knowledge of state requirements for Lien Release preparation and document recordation preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

- Internal Chase System Knowledge â€" MBWS, POTS, FSD, Co gnos, CMTS, VLS, MSP, NTC, UST, InfoSource, iVault, Federated Search, Lane Guide, Epost, Data Tree
- Ability to articulate findings and present data in a way that is understandable to all interested parties
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and customer centric environment
- Strong desire to be a part of a winning team
