- Reviews and transmits title commitments to clients.
- Obtain mortgage payoffs, tax information and insurance for closings
- Clears judgments and/or liens, and clears minor curative f! or closings.
- Prepare closing documents in compliance with lender instructions
- Prepare Bank Deposits/Remote Deposit
- Prepare documents for recording in appropriate parish
- Send out mortgage payoffs to lenders
- Make copies of closing package and send to clients
- Prepare title policies and title opinons;
- Mail recorded documents to clients
- Take care of customer’s phone or email requests for any post closing
- General correspondence
- Other duties as assigned.
knowledge of computers, specifically word processing and ability to
use a 10-key calculator; SoftPro knowledge a plus; legal background
or real estate experience a plus; organizational skills a must; must be
able to multi-task and manage several files at one time; exceptional
customer servi! ce is a must; team player; able to work with little
superv! ision; Notary Public a plus; two years previous experience
preferred in related industry (bank, attorney or a title company).
